Sharing with the Minster Congregation we lit up a window as part of the Advent trail around our town.

Look who popped in to our Forest School log cabin this week! Everyone had huge smiles as they met a very special visitor to school and found a present for their class. Thanks to Father Christmas and the Chief Elf for making a very magical morning and for the support of FrOGS.

Thank you to the Ilminster Christmas Lights Committee for inviting our children to come and sing in the Market Square. We combined this with our Victorian History day and Year 3s helped by some Year 4s sung beautifully to share in the joy of Christmas. Pudsey, spots and bright colours were everywhere as children and staff supported Children in Need with a non uniform day, helping the school develop its courageous advocacy for children everywhere.

Our very thoughtful Key Stage 2 pupils have been thinking and reflecting on the meaning of remembrance and have produced poems and artwork to share with the community. These are currently on the school fence and will also be displayed in Ilminster Library.
